Waterfest, what can you say, burnouts, booze, girls, heat or rain, and hotel parties. One of the most anticipated shows of the year located in Englishtown, New Jersey, kicks off every year at the end of July. People from all across the country and from Canada head down for a weekend long party with cars and friends. You either love it or hate it, but you still come whether it’s for the party or the show.
Waterfest offers everything from show cars to drag racing, to dyno events and mostly the parties. The usual hot spots Chili’s and the Ramada were huge as usual maybe even bigger than usual. Of course there are smaller parties at the various VW populated hotels across the region.
For the past few years there hasn’t been a drop of rain throughout the weekend, which for most is actually pretty bad cause Waterfest is located at Englishtown Raceway, which is just one gigantic piece of asphalt, so it gets pretty hot. Everyone was still out checking the one of 100+vendors or the numerous show cars. Some perused the exhibition area or the sound off events. People running around to try to grab the t-shirts being launched off the APR trailer.
All and all another fun party and boozed filled weekend is behind us and whether or not you say your going to go next year or not I am sure we will see you there again.
