Featured Car: Mike Newmans MK2 R32 GOLF.

Mike Newman’s Mk2 Golf with a 292bhp, de-catted 2007 R32 engine. Fitted
by a company in the Uk called Storm Developments, Mike’s car used to
run a supercharged 2.8 VR6 but after eating clutches and running a 13.8
second quarter mile he decided to opt for the normally aspirated engine
when a trip to the Nurburgring in Germany beckoned.

It was dropped in on Vibratechnic engine mounts, Corrado VR6 front and
rear subframes and is controlled by fully mappable Emerald M3DK Engine
management. A Dubpower six branch exhaust manifold and Jetex 2.5 inch
stainless exhaust system vents waste gases to atmosphere.

It goes like a train and has seen off many suppossed sportscars in and
around the Basingstoke in the UK. And the noise that it makes is purely
sexual!
