DC10 — Turweston Aerodrome, Brackely, Northampton, UK – Part Two

The Deutsch Connection show may only be in its 2nd year but this year it was set to be one of the big summer VAG shows in the UK.

The surrounding for DC10, as it was to be known, is a small still used airfield in Northampton, England. The constant buzzing of light aircraft taking off and landing was a strange yet cool back drop on what turned out to be an awesome, sunny Sunday afternoon!

The DC show prides itself on being one of the only primarily VAG based shows to allow other German marques to show. This means that walking round the show field is different to any other show as one minute there can be a new Scirocco, next a BMW E30 M3 and then an Audi A4 estate. There really is a wide variety at the show!

As usual there was a host of Show and Shine trophies for all categories from mk1 through to mk6 Golf, new and old Scirocco,  best BMW’s and best Mercedes. Along with these were best paint, best interior and also the coverted Best in Show which went to Janet Edwards with her Lamborghini inspired Mk4 Golf.

All in all DC10 turned out to be a great show and definitely one to be marked on the calendars for 2011! Roll on DC11 I say!
