in a big IT concern. My biggest hobby is – make a guess – my 99er Mk4
GTI, but also collecting blurays, home cinema in general and RC cars.
How long have you owned this car?
It was februrary, 23rd in 2008, when I was able to see my dream every day 
Is there anything unique about the history of this car?
Nothing really. The previous owner sold it cause he drove this car only on weekend. He also told me, that it isnt already chipped. But when I went to my chip tuner, he said “wtf? its already done!”. So went home and saved a lot of money 
Other funny thing to me is, that I bought the rearlip from the 20th AE from a guy from Israel

Tamiya TT-01 with Mk4 body 
Before the Mk4 I had a read Mk3.
What was your objective with this car?
To do nothing. But it’s an addiction to change a car that it is perfect for me.
What tuning style would you describe this car as?
Most parts are original VW. So…OEM ftw
Who helped you build this car?
Most thanks goes to…me! Hrhr. But Stefan from www.check-style.com did also good work.
What makes your car special?
The cooperation between car colour (blackmagic pearl), the white rims and the hood.
What is your favorite part/feature/function?
Definitley the hood! Its an eyecatcher where ever I are. Even an old woman (70yrs ore more) told me that the loves the hood
Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car?
The only insiration was the 25 Jahre GTI (20th AE in the US). But for the hood the americans are responsible. But please, dont tell’em.
What don’t you like about this car?
The exhaust sound. We aint got many possibilities in Germany to get a good sound from a turbo engine 
(TÜV…)
What was your biggest obstacle in building this car?
To wait for the exhaust system…spent 5 weeks.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the outcome of this project?
I think it is a good 9 for me. The 10th point would be a good exhaust sound.
What would you do to the car if money were no object?
I would clean some parts and do some more modifications on the engine.
Who has been your biggest critic of this project?
Me. My car, my rules

Why should anybody else then me drive this car? Driver wanted. Driver
