How long have you owned this car?
i bought this car new in 2005, so its been 5 years owning it
Is there anything unique about the history of this car?
Nothing too unique, although the dealer told me it was the last silver one in the area
What other cars did you consider?
i was originally looking at RSX’s and other tuner cars alike, but i really liked the way the Gti looked, and once i drove it i had to have it.
What was your objective with this car?
I just wanted a simple clean car, lowered with wheels to drive as a daily driver. and now this has turned into a huge project with a in the process shaved bay everybolt on performance part you can have on the stock turbo and more.
What tuning style would you describe this car as?
being that it is still stock turbo i like to call it slow and low, These stock turbos dont make all too much power, but the car does run pretty well. Fast in my book is a whole nother realm especially when you have friends with 1000hp cars, like my local shop where i help out alot, there racecar The southfloridaturbo.com supra.
Who helped you build this car?
The majority of the work ive done myself. Paint and body work was done by my friend Kyle at Ace Sullins carstar. There are many people who always lend me a hand friends like Randy Gerodan, Stu, Andrew and more
What makes your car special?
I dont think this car is too special to anyone but me, i built it for me but i think that its clean lines and overall good look make it appealing
What is your favorite part/feature/function?
My favorite part of the car would probably be the wheels. They are very rare, so far i haven’t found another set in the US. i cant say i dont like the car as a whole though
Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car?
There is alot of influence from cars in the scene that i took when building this car
What don’t you like about this car?
My half finished engine bay. im hoping to have it complete this summer. once that is done then i can truly call is complete for a while
What was your biggest obstacle in building this car?
Money, money is always a issue.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the outcome of this project?
8 out of 10, once i finish the bay i will be truly satisfied with it, although there is always something you or another part you want to change.
What would you do to the car if money were no object?
i think i would just leave it alone and build something else, probably a different manufacturer and maybe even japanese
Who has been your biggest critic of this project?
Im the biggest critic on myself
Who gets to drive this car?
usually only me, but on long road trips ocassionally my passenger will get to drive it
If your car had a motto, what would it be?
to be honest i cant think of one

I have named my car the Chariot
